Empowering Resilience through Financial Literacy: Scaling Rural Farmers' Operations

April 8, 2024
We are excited to share the recent success of a financial literacy session we held at Entojutu, aimed at empowering our incredible beneficiaries from five northeastern states. These regions have been deeply impacted by terrorism, climate change, and flooding, and are actively working towards economic recovery. This session marks a pivotal step in helping our beneficiaries scale their operations and build lasting resilience.

Led by Samuel Asaolu from Wema Bank Plc, the session provided a comprehensive overview of financial education, focusing on accessing various financing options to support the growth of their businesses. This knowledge is vital for our rural farmers, who are leveraging the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) as a sustainable, nature-based method to scale their agricultural activities. Our beneficiaries are now equipped with the tools to take their operations to the next level, and We are calling for support to assist them on this journey. By joining forces, we can drive sustainable change and foster economic resilience, even in the face of significant challenges. Together, we are creating pathways to economic recovery and empowering farmers to build a brighter future. Let’s continue to support their efforts as they confidently step forward in scaling their impact.
