Rural Feather Project – August 2024

We are excited to update you on the progress of the RuralFeather Project, aimed at empowering 10 rural women by providing them with 50 birds each, and promoting sustainable poultry farming.

Partnerships for Success
In collaboration with the Students Farm Research Foundation, the birds were nurtured from day-old chicks to 4 weeks, ensuring they were healthy and strong. This vital partnership has laid a solid foundation for the project and reflects our shared commitment to improving the livelihoods of rural women. By providing these women with proper training and access to high-quality resources, we’re empowering them to build a sustainable future for themselves and their communities.

What’s next?
We’re closely monitoring the progress of the participants, ensuring they achieve success with their poultry farms using innovative feeding methods, including Black Soldier Fly Larvae.
