We had 2 days training in Homabay, Kenya. We partnered with WAWA Kenya. Wawa is an NGO founded with an aim to stop ‘sex for fish’ practices by empowering women and girls around Lake Victoria regions.
We trained 21 beneficiaries. This batch of beneficiaries were important as they included alcoholics, victims of gender-based violence and survivors with their husbands.
We trained them on blacksoldierfly farming as a tool for economic recovery. Find more about our activities.
