Rural Resilience Activity's Partnership Day event

Celebrating Proud Moments at the Rural Resilience Activity’s Partnership Day
We at the Entojutu Sustainable Development Foundation are pleased to highlight how sustainable innovations promote economic recovery and resilience. At the recent Partnership Day of the Rural Resilience Activity (RRA), which had as its topic “Facilitating Trade and Sustainable Development,”
One notable game-changer was the introduction of animal feed enhanced with Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL), which showed how the circular economy concepts have improved food security and assisted livestock farmers. Our faith in the strength of creativity, partnerships, and community-driven solutions was reinforced by this event, which was made possible by the cooperation of USAID, Mercy Corps, Feed the Future Nigeria RRA and the resilient communities of Borno State. It is evident that Borno State is not only prepared for long-term investments but the state is also laying the groundwork for a more promising and resilient future. We at Entojutu are committed to scaling these effective solutions so that resilience and sustainability serve as the cornerstones of rural Nigeria’s economic development.
We saw directly how nature-based solutions are improving life in areas like Borno State which was devastated by war. This creative strategy creates economic stability in rural areas, lowers feed prices, and advances sustainable agriculture. Also, seeing our beneficiaries, BMK Agro, boldly demonstrate Black Soldier Fly (BSF) farming and inform others about its advantages was a proud moment for Entojutu. It was evidence of the impact of our work to see them embrace and promote an environmentally friendly, sustainable option. The success of circular economy innovations in the real world was demonstrated by their capacity to show how BSFL-enhanced animal feed can increase food security and economic resilience. Such occasions serves as a reminder of our dedication to providing communities with information and long-term solutions that promote long-lasting transformation.
